Kim graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of art and design, in 2001.
After 12 months, exhibiting in several galleries, she began freelancing as a design consultant, which took her to Russia, France, Italy and New York.
In 2002 she became a Postgraduate student studying on the Masters of Fine Art programme at Duncan of Jordanstone, ending Dec 2003.
Her practice is visually led encompassing Painting, Film, Photography and Text.
She is currently working on The Italian Series and will return to Florence this year for a three-month residency, where she will be collaborating with the influential Italian artist Mauro Betti.
She has continued to paint and exhibit her work in the UK and Europe and her paintings were on show last year at The Glasgow Art Fair.
